An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrianus Tambunan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Onur Ali Tulun. In the 42nd match minute, Putra Rewulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zonta to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Putra Rewulu getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Daniel Zonta hit a great ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Ignado in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Panțuru to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Panțuru in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Adrianus Tambunan was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Adrianus Tambunan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Putra Rewulu's Hu Jie Rong was substituted for Filip Panțuru. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Jie Rong in the 75th minute of play. When Tytus Pracki came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Putra Rewulu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tytus Pracki couldn't finish the play. Hu Jie Rong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrianus Tambunan having to make a save. Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mariano Lacasa 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Adrianus Tambunan in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Hu Jie Rong notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
