Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Max Mohammad got the match started through his kick off. Max Mohammad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Marko Gustavsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newcastle United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 7th minute, Marko Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Claes Ahlroht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Max Mohammad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Mohammad in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute of the match Newcastle United FC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nichifor Crivoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Newcastle United FC's corner Nichifor Crivoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Max Mohammad got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 18th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. In the 21st minute Max Mohammad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Hermansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Ahlroht in the 30th minute of play. Otto Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nichifor Crivoi who took care of the corner kick. Newcastle United FC's Nichifor Crivoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Newcastle United FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Max Mohammad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United FC's Magnus Holmgren got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Crivoi in the 55th minute of the match. Otto Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otto Hermansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 59 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Olofsson in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Newcastle United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Ahlroht didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Åström came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Lars Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Newcastle United FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Olofsson in the 87th minute of play. Magnus Holmgren hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Max Mohammad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Olofsson in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense.
