Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Paco Everett made the kick off and thus started the match. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Paco Everett. Arty Shearn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Pearse in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paco Everett. In the 37th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match, Kris Pearse tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boroondara Milan's Arty Shearn got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boroondara Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ned Mills in the 62nd minute of play. Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arty Shearn's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arty Shearn helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Arty Shearn hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Everett in the 72nd minute of the match. Bath Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bath Boyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bath Boyce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bath Boyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Panama booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drake Sobczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Boroondara Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drake Sobczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bath Boyce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
