Elliott Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Seppe Dobbeleir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asarum's goalkeeper Seppe Dobbeleir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, 龙文轩 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 庄寒谦 in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 庄寒谦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Asarum's Seppe Dobbeleir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Asarum from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Seppe Dobbeleir threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 61st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Seppe Dobbeleir quite easily take care of the ball. Elliott Bergfelt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Seppe Dobbeleir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Seppe Dobbeleir in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seppe Dobbeleir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, 龙文轩 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Seppe Dobbeleir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, 龙文轩 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asarum's supporters rose to their feet, but 龙文轩 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Asarum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Elliott Bergfelt threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Asarum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote.
