Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paco Everett kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Boyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Boroondara Milan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Moises Tafalla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bath Boyce saved Boroondara Milan from getting behind. After 16 minutes of play, Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Bath Boyce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Drake Sobczak. In the 27th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drake Sobczak to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Paco Everett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boroondara Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Paco Everett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bath Boyce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paco Everett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. In the 48th minute of the match Ned Mills sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Pearse in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Drake Sobczak during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Drake Sobczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Long Worsley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Villa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bath Boyce. That made the score 2-1 in the 63 minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Everett in the 66th minute of play. Paco Everett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Boroondara Milan were awarded a corner. Ned Mills went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Pearse, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paco Everett in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bath Boyce having to interfere. Esteban Carvallo lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Boroondara Milan a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ned Mills, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. 3-1. The supporters of Honduras booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Luckham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Sperling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Ned Mills hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boroondara Milan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
