Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edvard Võsandi took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gonzo Maradona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzo Maradona was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The Les Tigres fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the game Grzegorz Sokolski made a throw-in which Luboš Štencl played forward. Leonardo Tipi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Edvard Võsandi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzo Maradona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Francisco Carballar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Tigres the free kick. In the 34th minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Severino Estevez from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Thiago Pliego's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gonzo Maradona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 40th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Võsandi in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Võsandi in the 42nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 59th minute, Edvard Võsandi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ömer-Asaf Güneş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Grzegorz Sokolski in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Pedro Indiano. Gonzo Maradona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gonzo Maradona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 72nd minute of the match. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Rodolfo Luken's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Luken helped the player get up and apologised. Les Tigres's Sermet Erva was substituted for Luboš Štencl. The supporters of Chile booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzo Maradona made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. Gonzo Maradona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute. When Alan Tamayo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Alan Tamayo a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa scored 3-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzo Maradona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Les Tigres's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
