Christoforos Karabitsakos got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stavros Lagoudakis. In the 11th minute, Tasos Iosifakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Panagiotis Klapanaras tried to sneak it across the goal line. The BPS F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when BPS F.C.'s Panagiotis Klapanaras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when BPS F.C.'s Panagiotis Klapanaras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panos Tavanidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Klapanaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Panagiotis Klapanaras sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. A collision led to BPS F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Spyros Gaitanidis hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paschalis Kontogiannidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paschalis Kontogiannidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Klapanaras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panagiotis Klapanaras in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 44th minute of play forced BPS F.C.'s goalkeeper Paschalis Kontogiannidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Spyros Gaitanidis came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. The supporters of Uruguay booed when BPS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tasos Iosifakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. BPS F.C.'s Tomasz Gierasik was substituted for Tasos Iosifakos. A collision led to BPS F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tasos Iosifakos hit a great ball. Paschalis Kontogiannidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 61st minute of the match. The corner ended in Jaime Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BPS F.C.'s Paschalis Kontogiannidis did a great save. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Tavanidis in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Panos Tavanidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Tomasz Gierasik hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Christoforos Karabitsakos with Pavlos Kantartzis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kasper Helander took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Christoforos Karabitsakos with Pavlos Kantartzis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panagiotis Klapanaras's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panagiotis Klapanaras in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Christoforos Karabitsakos got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pavlos Kantartzis. 92 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Panagiotis Klapanaras came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Klapanaras in the 94th minute of the match. BPS F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
