The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Panagiotis Klapanaras made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavlos Kantartzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 81st minute Kasper Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by BPS F.C.'s Panos Tavanidis. But to his dismay, Panos Tavanidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. BPS F.C.'s Paschalis Kontogiannidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 87th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stavros Lagoudakis in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, BPS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timos Boublis to maneuver through the defense. BPS F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
