Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PALMEIRAS-UTAH. In the 30th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. 严昂军 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donald Voldfrom in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donald Voldfrom's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Pascual Carballar's late challenge caught a PALMEIRAS-UTAH's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. After 60 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Carballar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Ignacio Mastache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 严昂军. The goal made the score 0-3. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
