The referee ignored Stratton FC's protests and gave Cristinel Paraschivescu a yellow card for diving instead. Cristinel Paraschivescu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Matt Sanderson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Lawrance See made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Zoufalý in the 13th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Stratton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Sanderson to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lawrance See. Stratton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lawrance See made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lawrance See tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakub Zoufalý's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakub Zoufalý helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lawrance See reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Jakub Zoufalý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bradshaw Waller who took care of the corner kick. Stratton FC's Bradshaw Waller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lawrance See narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Zoufalý, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Stratton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brynn Andrews didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Bradshaw Waller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Sacchi was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Alessandro Sacchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Alessandro Sacchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Zoufalý, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. With a little luck, Stratton FC's Lawrance See got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lawrance See, 0-2. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lawrance See having to make a save. In the 75th minute, Cristinel Paraschivescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play forced Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Zoufalý, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawrance See made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Stratton FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Alessandro Sacchi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stratton FC. After a rather tough play, Stratton FC's Cristinel Paraschivescu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lawrance See. Lawrance See dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakub Zoufalý struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stratton FC. The Stratton FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
