No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato Tapia in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Rubén Blanco hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match.
