Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Gelu Ioniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 9th minute of the game was made by Romeo Dobrica with Virgil Ţirpe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 10th minute, Eliodor Iosifian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelu Ioniță. When Rapid Bucharest's Boguslaw Furgat in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Boguslaw Furgat put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Furgat in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match Gelu Ioniță climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gelu Ioniță showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Furgat. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beržas Lideika read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gelu Ioniță to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Ioniță came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehran Utandıbalayev struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapid Bucharest. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Ioniță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, 马广竞 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rapid Bucharest getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alex Baciu hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Salvador Gisbert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beržas Lideika skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Ioniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Furgat in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beržas Lideika, 4-1. Boguslaw Furgat took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Furgat in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Furgat in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Virgil Ţirpe who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Virgil Ţirpe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Furgat in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Rapid Bucharest's Gelu Ioniță made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Rapid Bucharest players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
