Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yu Feng Xi in the 6th minute. Timo Thorstein kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Panaiteanu got free with Julio Vera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Panaiteanu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timo Thorstein kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Olimpiu Hârlău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Feng Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Feng Xi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Benny Beckenbauer's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Beckenbauer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Benny Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Feng Xi in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Yu Feng Xi struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpathian Wolves. After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Timo Thorstein got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carpathian Wolves throughout the match.
