Åke Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Jansson in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 66th match minute, Zero Hedge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Billberg to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Wallander having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Wiktor Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Wiktor Wallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Åke Jansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zero Hedge's Alexander Johansson got a free kick in the 96th minute. Zero Hedge succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
