Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gojko Bešlić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 26th minute of play. FC Bonin's Wawrzyniec Dzierwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, FC Bonin's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Bou got free with Rolando Noboa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Kac kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duardo Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wawrzyniec Dzierwa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Wawrzyniec Dzierwa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Peru's Wawrzyniec Dzierwa threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Olivar during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Bonin getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Augusto Olivar hit a great ball. The supporters of Peru booed when FC Bonin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Jonathan Maia in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After a rather tough play, FC Bonin's La Kac got a free kick in the 89th minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gojko Bešlić in the 95th minute of play.
