Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. If Carl Nordlander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 13 in the game by Ronaldo Cristi from a close distance when the talented Pedro Manzanares managed to make a qualified save. Colombia's players were relieved. Ronaldo Cristi scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Gabriel Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Ronaldo Cristi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-0. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Fanström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Vedholm in the 35th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Cristi's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 45th minute, Göran Vedholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Cristi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Cristi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pier Kopacz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Abram Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gabriel Fanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Doffes Damer's Gabriel Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 58th minute of play. When Knut Utfal came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Doffes Damer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Utfal couldn't finish the play. Doffes Damer's Gabriel Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Garrido in the 63rd minute of play. Gabriel Fanström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Doffes Damer's Gabriel Fanström got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Gabriel Fanström made a huge save. Doffes Damer's Su Yao Ting was substituted for Pier Kopacz. Doffes Damer's Andréas Stigsson was substituted for Knut Utfal. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Herbert Wincek, made in the 70th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Abram Secada could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Gabriel Fanström however easily saved by the left post. Gabriel Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Inge Braa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Vedholm in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Göran Vedholm made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Inge Braa took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Inge Braa hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Doffes Damer fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
