Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Mirco Kähler in the 2nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 6 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Montel came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Tempel. Alf Tempel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Tempel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Julian Murillo sped through Rapid Wien's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alf Tempel. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alf Tempel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Alf Tempel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Montel got free with Rolando Noboa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Tempel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alf Tempel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Tempel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Reuter got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Shi Yuan Qi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Yuan Qi got free with Rolando Noboa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. The Rapid Wien players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Montel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alf Tempel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 57 minutes into the game, Mirco Kähler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapid Wien's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Rapid Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirco Kähler to maneuver through the defense. Alf Tempel made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alf Tempel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play forced Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rapid Wien's Lars Reicher was substituted for Andreas Olejarz. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mirco Kähler, made in the 68th minute of the game. In the 71st minute of the match Rapid Wien got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Hagedorn ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Hagedorn made a great header on Rapid Wien's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. 72 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel. Alf Tempel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 75 played minutes Rapid Wien got a freekick which was hit by Lars Reicher. In the 76th minute, Lars Reicher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Tempel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 85 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Tempel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rapid Wien made a substitution. Sergio Skoczylas replaced Daniel Hagedorn. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Tempel was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rapid Wien.
