Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Sokolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselm Hayer in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Ekrem Avşar. Lance Malliouris came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bengt Persson in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Bengt Persson came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 13 minute. In the 16th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselm Hayer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 in the 17 minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, FC Schonebeck's Bengt Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, FC Schonebeck's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lance Malliouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lance Malliouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When FC Schonebeck's Anselm Hayer in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lance Malliouris could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Malliouris having to interfere. Sébastien Heintz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Lance Malliouris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lance Malliouris. That made the score 3-2 in the 70 minute of play. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Lance Malliouris made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Schonebeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Spengler didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Schonebeck's Carmine Anastasi was substituted for Michael Laudrup. In the 80th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FC Schonebeck's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris managed to reach the ball for a save. 81 minutes into the match, FC Schonebeck's goalkeeper Lance Malliouris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after FC Schonebeck's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris did a great save. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Persson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Lothar Drinkard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lothar Drinkard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lance Malliouris. Lance Malliouris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.
