Amarante Gibert might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amarante Gibert ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amarante Gibert got free with Julio Vera in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play forced Junta De Los Rios CF's goalkeeper Amuruza Lillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
