Julio Vera came out of the goal and Andrzej Klawki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jedrzej Beninda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After having played for 93 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Wymiatacze and deserved their victory. The FC Wymiatacze players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
