The WNB Czechovice-Dz. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Witomir Polakowski should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Witomir Polakowski. Witomir Polakowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Witomir Polakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. WNB Czechovice-Dz.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 34 minutes into the match, WNB Czechovice-Dz.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Witomir Polakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Witomir Polakowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Márcio Amoroso in the 41st minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Witomir Polakowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Witomir Polakowski to make any attempt to save it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
