A nice corner shot did that Roger Dorenbosch got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 41 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Emil Houwing. In the 44th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mexico's Macos Graciani quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roger Dorenbosch, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 盛世 高文竞 in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ted Jansen was slow to take the kick. During this time NFC Eagles 22's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on NFC Eagles 22's corner Ted Jansen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NFC Eagles 22.
