Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Norberto Beckman could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. Gunnar Henriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Tasis went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Norberto Beckman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Norberto Beckman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Jospeh Heller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Chung Mercer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Mehmet Emin Yağınalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-1. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Beckman went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Beckman was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Emin Yağınalp came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Norberto Beckman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliodor Şteflea took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 60 minutes into the match, Jospeh Heller notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Emin Yağınalp in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Emin Yağınalp came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Inter 1908 Milan's goalkeeper Gunnar Henriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. With his leg Gunnar Henriksson managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Beckman in the 80th minute of the match. Mehmet Emin Yağınalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Gunnar Henriksson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emin Yağınalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Eliodor Şteflea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
