Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off. Primitivo Escribano struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Gunnar Henriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mehmet Emin Yağınalp in the 13 minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Eliodor Şteflea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Inter 1908 Milan getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Adam Hawk hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Norberto Beckman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter 1908 Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Beckman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Henriksson having to interfere. Mehmet Emin Yağınalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Mehmet Emin Yağınalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Şteflea in the 64th minute of the match. Eliodor Şteflea struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Inter 1908 Milan's Norberto Beckman got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Emin Yağınalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Clement Kimble kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Inter 1908 Milan players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
