The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Neiva was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Atlanticalvos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Tales Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Christian Sancho hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Jullian's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Atlanticalvos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. 53 minutes into the match, Atlanticalvos FC's goalkeeper Tales Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlanticalvos FC's Maurín Ferrel was substituted for Claudio Jullian. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Gurgul in the 59th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Atlanticalvos FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Honduras and the Atlanticalvos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Honduras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Moises Tafalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Atlanticalvos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honduras's Moises Tafalla suffered a sore thigh after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When 曹挺奕 fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlanticalvos FC's protests and gave 曹挺奕 a yellow card for diving instead. Honduras made a substitution. Xavier Costa replaced Moises Tafalla. After 98 played minutes Atlanticalvos FC got a freekick which was hit by 曹挺奕. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
