After 12 minutes of play, The Skates's Gustav Hybbert made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 15 minutes, Ragnar Biörling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Skates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Biörling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustav Hybbert struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Skates. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Hybbert in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Skates's Kjell Fribäck got a free kick in the 29th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Degas in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Jens-Ola Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Fribäck kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. The Skates's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jens-Ola Lund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jens-Ola Lund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute. Robert Bugajski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Gustav Hybbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 minutes, Gustav Hybbert made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustav Hybbert took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gustav Hybbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Ragnar Biörling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Kalfhage struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Skates. In the 94th minute, Gustav Hybbert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Skates fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Robert Bugajski hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the The Skates players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
