Jacob May made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Junta De Los Rios CF's Amuruza Lillo managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes into the match, Junta De Los Rios CF's goalkeeper Amuruza Lillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Amuruza Lillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amarante Gibert, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Amuruza Lillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Junta De Los Rios CF's Amuruza Lillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 20th minute of play. Baudelio Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Berriotxoa Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Amuruza Lillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of play. Mané Balcells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Amuruza Lillo made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amarante Gibert in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baudelio Echavarri in the 45th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Amuruza Lillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Junta De Los Rios CF's Ricardo Carballido was substituted for Fructuoso Olle. Junta De Los Rios CF made a substitution. Celestino Marques replaced Baudelio Echavarri. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Monty Rogers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amuruza Lillo having to make a save. In the 55th minute, Ricardo Carballido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Balcells came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Day could save by the left post. In the 65th minute Junta De Los Rios CF were awarded a corner. Ricardo Carballido went to the cornerflag to take it. If Celestino Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Ion Vadillos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amuruza Lillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Amuruza Lillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 74th minute of play. Mané Balcells's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mané Balcells helped the player get up and apologised. USA's Sam Campbell got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Carballido came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When USA's Sam Campbell in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Junta De Los Rios CF's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that USA were the better team. USA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
