In the 22nd match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. If Jospeh Heller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Romon Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Romon Oliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Henriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Emin Yağınalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Inter 1908 Milan getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Andreas Johnson hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Şteflea came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Norberto Beckman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demonde Jacobson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. In the 82nd minute Norberto Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Norberto Beckman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demonde Jacobson. The goal made the score 0-6. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter 1908 Milan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
