Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Claudio Jullian scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bennie Michaud scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudio Jullian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlanticalvos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Czeslaw Gurgul's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. After taking down the ball on Atlanticalvos FC's corner Czeslaw Gurgul fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Atlanticalvos FC's Czeslaw Gurgul fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atlanticalvos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Czeslaw Gurgul in the 36th minute. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Neiva having to interfere. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tales Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claudio Jullian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Czeslaw Gurgul made the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Jullian in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Bennie Michaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Bennie Michaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Maurín Ferrel came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Czeslaw Gurgul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlanticalvos FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tales Neiva had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Tasis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Atlanticalvos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Enrique Barnard hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Gurgul in the 76th minute of play. In the 85th minute Czeslaw Gurgul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Czeslaw Gurgul made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
