Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stratos Vogiatzis was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Vogiatzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stratos Vogiatzis having to interfere. Stratos Vogiatzis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper Stratos Vogiatzis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stratos Vogiatzis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nasos Tsionas made a kick off. After 52 minutes Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Stratos Vogiatzis in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Galanopoulos. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Stratos Vogiatzis made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stratos Vogiatzis, 0-3. Stratos Vogiatzis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Stratos Vogiatzis in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Lutsar in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stratos Vogiatzis. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 81st minute of play forced Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper Stratos Vogiatzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stratos Vogiatzis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasos Tsionas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador played a much better game than Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ and deserved their victory. The Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
