Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

With a little luck, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Bolli Stopar got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match USA got a corner. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. USA's Diego Bradley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bolli Stopar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
