Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennie Michaud in the 36th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Claudio Jullian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After 68 minutes, Timoteo Gartxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlanticalvos FC and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Atlanticalvos FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Gartxot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kris Leinatamm during the 73rd minute.
