The goalkeeper, Dante Lacasa, was totally fooled by Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Muc Abeita, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cambranes Aballe in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Abello in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Abello came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Cambranes Aballe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Discípulos de Ayn Rand eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
