Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emanuel Markham got the match started through his kick off. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 2nd minute of play. If Kent Remme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kent Remme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Remme in the 15th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Kai Østbye almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Borys Witek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Ribe kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Brufoss IL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Witek having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Lode in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Markham in the 47th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Borys Witek in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brufoss IL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Witek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luis Andino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Borys Witek 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Witek saved Brufoss IL from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Borys Witek. Agustín Saelices showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Kevin Strømsnes charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Strømsnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Strømsnes. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Remme in the 68th minute of play. Brufoss IL's Are Høiby was substituted for Kevin Strømsnes. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Kajetan Kazimierz replaced Anders Elstad. Brufoss IL were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kai Østbye took the corner. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Østbye in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Borys Witek made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. Kai Østbye kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 89th minute of play. When Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
