In the 3rd minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panait Hațegan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Panait Hațegan in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panait Hațegan was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Panait Hațegan in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Alper Benli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Sneijder, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mădălin Cangeopol made a kick off. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tractorul Satulung -MM- were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Heintje Gamarra took the corner. Damaso Ubelteso charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Ubelteso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Damaso Ubelteso got a free kick in the 66th minute. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mădălin Cangeopol could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wesley Sneijder went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
