The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Necdet Semail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olcay Murat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olcay Murat saved THEBESTFB from getting behind. If Aytuğ Mutluay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olcay Murat having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dobromil Vimr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olcay Murat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Aytuğ Mutluay took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

50 minutes into the match, Aytuğ Mutluay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aytuğ Mutluay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Olcay Murat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aytuğ Mutluay in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 61stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THEBESTFB's Olcay Murat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necdet Semail in the 66th minute of play. When Aytuğ Mutluay came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the THEBESTFB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytuğ Mutluay couldn't finish the play. THEBESTFB were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dobromil Vimr took the corner. After taking down the ball on THEBESTFB's corner Dobromil Vimr fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Aytuğ Mutluay put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necdet Semail in the 77th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necdet Semail, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 79 minutes of play, THEBESTFB's Necdet Semail made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necdet Semail, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Necdet Semail stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Necdet Semail tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aytuğ Mutluay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of THEBESTFB booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. THEBESTFB walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
