Olcay Murat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, THEBESTFB's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Olcay Murat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced THEBESTFB's goalkeeper Olcay Murat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, THEBESTFB's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Necdet Semail, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. THEBESTFB were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dobromil Vimr took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced THEBESTFB's goalkeeper Olcay Murat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. THEBESTFB's Olcay Murat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olcay Murat. THEBESTFB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytuğ Mutluay got free with Julio Vera in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 38 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of THEBESTFB's Olcay Murat. Olcay Murat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in THEBESTFB's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olcay Murat came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olcay Murat. 0-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necdet Semail in the 66th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Olcay Murat made a huge save. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olcay Murat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Olcay Murat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytuğ Mutluay in the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, THEBESTFB's Olcay Murat got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Olcay Murat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Luis Andino suffered a concussion in the 91st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Başar Akpolat charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Başar Akpolat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to THEBESTFB getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Başar Akpolat hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than THEBESTFB.
