Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matthew Macken took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roberto Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Roberto Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Estevon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play forced Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Ashley Down Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A collision led to Ashley Down Athletic getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Eddie Pitt hit a great ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Matthew Macken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play. Joel Gaona scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Estevon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roberto Estevon firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 58th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Estevon. The goal made the score 0-6. Ashley Down Athletic made a substitution. Vern Hatcher replaced Feliciano Stephen. After having played for 66 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Higginson in the 75th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ashley Down Athletic getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Les Tinker hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Roberto Estevon in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Estevon was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute of play forced Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 93rd minute of play. Roberto Estevon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 95th minute. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
