Daniel Ubeda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manu Santibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Miguel Saldés in the 9th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. After 17 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Ubeda made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Américo Zelada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Miguel Saldés, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Daniel Ubeda was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Miguel Saldés in the 46th minute of the match.

51 minutes into the match, Atlanticalvos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Daniel Ubeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taurino Amenábar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Atlanticalvos FC's Daniel Ubeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Francisco Miguel Saldés shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Pabst kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Miguel Saldés in the 64th minute of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 73 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Ubeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Ubeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 86th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rexino Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Miguel Saldés could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Many of Atlanticalvos FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Atlanticalvos FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Costa Rica were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
