Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Nabi İhsan struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esenyurt. After 8 played minutes Esenyurt got a freekick which was hit by Erdinç İlenç. In the 8th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batıkan İrem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Esenyurt's Arif Gaffar Rıfkı got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Esenyurt getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bayhan Tanbek hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alptuğ Ulusu in the 22nd minute. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alptuğ Ulusu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Gaffar Rıfkı during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Esenyurt:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. Esenyurt:s Batıkan İrem showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Batıkan İrem having to make a save. In the 62nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan İrem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıkan İrem having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Bayhan Tanbek notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Batıkan İrem having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Batıkan İrem. That made the score 2-1 in the 79 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faruk Başkur during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Batıkan İrem in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alptuğ Ulusu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alptuğ Ulusu took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
