The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Gärsnäs BF's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wang Cheng came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederick Griscti got free with Jacobo Nores in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Dane Friebe sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Cheng having to interfere. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Frederick Griscti sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederick Griscti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederick Griscti in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Despite this Jacobo Nores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frederick Griscti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Gärsnäs BF from getting a goal against them. Paraguay's attentive Raul Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Maido Niit made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the game, Tord Lang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gärsnäs BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there!
