The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Dawid Bucyki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 25th minute of play forced PTB Football Club's goalkeeper Dawid Bucyki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Sebastian Piechocki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dawid Bucyki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind PTB Football Club's goalkeeper Dawid Bucyki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When PTB Football Club's Sebastian Piechocki in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
