The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Hoisie during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to F.C. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the match, José Bomba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Bomba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. F.C. Paços de Ferreira played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
