Ämmer Sportfreaks's Silverio Godoy got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 6th minute of play. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Gutierre Lauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ämmer Sportfreaks's Patricius Lafranchi in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fergus Maina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Godoy to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gutierre Lauri's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Silverio Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Maina. Ämmer Sportfreaks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 30 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fergus Maina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Patricius Lafranchi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ämmer Sportfreaks defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Maina. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Maina should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gutierre Lauri's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willem Rinert was slow to take the kick. During this time Ämmer Sportfreaks's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gutierre Lauri in the 45th minute of the match. Fergus Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Fergus Maina made a huge save. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fergus Maina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute Ämmer Sportfreaks were awarded a corner. Willem Rinert went to the cornerflag to take it. Patricius Lafranchi made a great header on Ämmer Sportfreaks's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. If Gutierre Lauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fergus Maina came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fergus Maina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 88 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Fergus Maina however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fergus Maina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 95 minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fergus Maina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
