Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Axel Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Zheng Jian Yi to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Zheng Jian Yi in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Angelsø in the 17th minute of play. After 23 minutes, Abram Sarmiento made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Vic Angelsø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vic Angelsø in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chorchoj's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zheng Jian Yi came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vic Angelsø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Dyllen Reijnders kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-4 in the 82 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Vic Angelsø notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 91 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Secada. In the 94th minute, Kevin Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zheng Jian Yi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. The FC Chorchoj supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Chorchoj would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
