Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Alptuğ Ulusu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esenyurt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Esenyurt getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Faruk Başkur hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Batıkan İrem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batıkan İrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Esenyurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirza Uludağ to maneuver through the defense. Batıkan İrem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alptuğ Ulusu took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Esenyurt's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batıkan İrem came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batıkan İrem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Esenyurt defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batıkan İrem. The Esenyurt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batıkan İrem should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batıkan İrem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After the first half Ecuador were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alptuğ Ulusu made a kick off. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Esenyurt's Alptuğ Ulusu. But to his dismay, Alptuğ Ulusu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Esenyurt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Luis Andino scored to the left of an out of position Batıkan İrem, making the score, 3-4. Melik Olgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Faruk Başkur fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esenyurt's protests and gave Faruk Başkur a yellow card for diving instead. Faruk Başkur hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Esenyurt's Çağatay Uluhan was substituted for Arif Gaffar Rıfkı. Batıkan İrem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Batıkan İrem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Batıkan İrem in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Onuralp Uraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
