A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Baltasar Mikeldi hit a great ball. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano scored to the left of an out of position Anacleto Eutor, making the score, 1-0. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anacleto Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lázaro Jaunzuria fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Muñes de Don Cuco's protests and gave Lázaro Jaunzuria a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ruperto Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Anacleto Eutor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Gaur in the 26th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Anacleto Eutor in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Gaur in the 30th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Braulio Beti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Muñes de Don Cuco and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Los Muñes de Don Cuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Beti to maneuver through the defense. If Camilo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Eutor. Anacleto Eutor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anacleto Eutor. The goal made the score 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Los Muñes de Don Cuco defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Eutor. The Los Muñes de Don Cuco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Eutor should have stopped the shot. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Eutor. Anacleto Eutor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Los Muñes de Don Cuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 60th minute of play. The throw-in from Lázaro Jaunzuria in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. 70 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anacleto Eutor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Lázaro Jaunzuria with Higinio Artal as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Camilo Covarrubias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Baltasar Mikeldi did an outstanding performance 80 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 7-1 to the right of an irritated Joaquin Gayoso in the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Anacleto Eutor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Gaur in the 86th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kevin Carballal charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Carballal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 93rd minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Anacleto Eutor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Eutor having to interfere. When Francisco Seco fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Francisco Seco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Uruguay were the better team. Uruguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
