In the 18th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardy Oester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Hardy Oester despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hardy Oester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Hardy Oester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Stephan Ziegerer got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Ämmer Sportfreaks's Hardy Oester. Hardy Oester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Gernot Grondin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ämmer Sportfreaks and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Luis Andino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hardy Oester. The goal made the score 0-8. 59 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Hardy Oester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hardy Oester came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 61st minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hardy Oester having to make a save. With a little luck, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Hardy Oester got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Klaus Fossati took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jared Straub in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Hardy Oester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hardy Oester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Jered Meister fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ämmer Sportfreaks's protests and gave Jered Meister a yellow card for diving instead.
