Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Björnberg kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Peter Björnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alaska Anchorage FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Björnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 6 minutes, Peter Björnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alaska Anchorage FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Björnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Sherman Lilly got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Björnberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Alaska Anchorage FC's Peter Björnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Björnberg in the 17th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The nice shot from Peter Björnberg in the 17thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Benito Sanz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Björnberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Peter Björnberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Björnberg really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Björnberg. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the game, Peter Björnberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Peter Björnberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Björnberg got free with Benito Sanz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Peter Björnberg sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alaska Anchorage FC's Peter Björnberg. But to his dismay, Peter Björnberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 46th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Nelleboedske saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alaska Anchorage FC's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Nelleboedske came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Björnberg's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Peter Björnberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peter Björnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Houston Guy was slow to take the kick. During this time Alaska Anchorage FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 64th minute Peter Björnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Peter Björnberg notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexander Carballo's late challenge caught a Alaska Anchorage FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Björnberg in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Björnberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Alaska Anchorage FC's Peter Björnberg made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the game, Peter Björnberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Peter Björnberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Björnberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. 89 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alaska Anchorage FC the free kick. Alaska Anchorage FC's Liam Potts was substituted for Ludomil Penczkowski. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Sherman Lilly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaska Anchorage FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
