The supporters of Colombia booed when JELINEBERG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Azuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, JELINEBERG's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Paolo Azuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Azuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The throw-in from Johnny Ek in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. In the 29thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JELINEBERG's Paolo Azuela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, JELINEBERG's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Paolo Azuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
